MINI GROOMING COURSE – 5 DAYS
A
condensed version of the 10 day course this is a great introduction to grooming. It was originally devised for hairdressers
interested in entering the profession who already had scissoring and clippering experience. Over 5 days students are taught
the essential basics of grooming. Styling the most common breeds encountered in salons and overseen by a dog grooming professional
every step of the way, you will gain an understanding of groomer styling techniques and work with a different breed in
detail each day.
Training
will include handling, practical clippering & scissoring techniques, bathing, nail trimming and business advice. A Certificate in Dog Grooming
will be presented to you upon completion of the course.
£700 PER PERSON*
HAND
STRIPPING CERTIFICATE - 2 DAYS
Hand-stripping
is the process of pulling dead hair out of the coat of non-shedding dogs, either by using a stripping knife or the fingers.
Stripping is the proper grooming method for most terriers and is a professional technique used on some
show dogs. Hand striping is very popular amongst owners but rarely offered in salons. A groomer can get a higher
income from hand-stripping rather than clippering and, after this short course, your business will have the advantage
over most salons who do not offer the service.
£300 PER PERSON*
*Please note: A non-refundable deposit of £200
for each course is requested upon application to secure the student’s chosen dates. Full payment for each course
is due 7 days before attendance as dog models will have already been booked in for grooming.
